PE

At our school, Physical Education is about more than just sport — it’s about confidence, teamwork, resilience, and finding joy in being active.
We believe that being active brings people together. Through games, challenges, and shared experiences, we care about togetherness, supporting and encouraging one another to succeed. Whether working as a team or celebrating each other’s achievements, every child plays an important part.
We recognise that every child is unique, and we thrive on difference by offering a wide range of sports and activities. From dance and gymnastics to team games and athletics, we ensure that every child can find something they enjoy and feel successful in.
Children take part in at least two hours of PE each week, building skills, fitness, and confidence over time. They learn to challenge themselves, reflect on their progress, and develop resilience — showing how we are inspired to grow both physically and personally.
Our annual Sports Week and Sports Day are highlights of the year, bringing our whole school community together in a celebration of effort, teamwork, and achievement. Often linked to global sporting events, these experiences help children feel connected to the wider world and passionate about learning beyond the classroom.
We also provide swimming opportunities through our visiting pool, ensuring children develop essential life skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Above all, PE at our school is about belonging — creating a positive, inclusive space where every child feels confident, valued, and inspired to lead an active, healthy life.
